For anyone who wonders about how important Wound Care is and how successful it can be I will offer you our experience with the most caring and tenacious doctor you can find.  Our Adult son had surgery in June of 2024, and the surgical area would not close due to the wound site our son Cerebral Palsy, he is in a wheelchair, and he is also autistic.  We started seeing Dr. Aguirre in October of 2024 and completed our journey in May of 2025.  Throughout the process she was not only diligent in finding a solution she was innovative as well.  Working with an Autistic person is not easy and being caring, patient, and very understanding no matter how many times he repeated the same concerns to her and told the same story every time he saw her, she was gracious and kind.  She threw anything and everything she could think of to get us across the finish line and after a lot of out of the box thinking we finally finished treatment and the wound healed.  It was frustrating and heartbreaking to take a few steps forward and a few steps back throughout the process she was encouraging and kept us positive.  We cannot thank her enough for the loving care she gave our son and we will forever be grateful that she was the one who cared for our son.”
