Heather Aguirre, DO, CWSP

Dr. Heather Aguirre is Board-certified in Family Medicine, Wound Care, and Obesity Medicine, showing her broad expertise across several medical specialties. She earned her degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center, Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Aguirre completed her residency at the Christus Spohn Family Medicine Residency Program in Corpus Christi, Texas, where she was honored to serve as Co-Chief Resident. As the founder of Central Texas Wound Healing Associates PLLC, she has created a trusted clinic focused on advanced wound care and limb salvage. Dr. Aguirre offers exceptional skill in the most current and successful methods for wound management. With her extensive background as a Medical Director and founder of various healthcare projects, she provides deep clinical insight paired with a kind, patient-centered style, always working toward the best possible healing results for every person in her care.

Joel Budd, DSc, PA-C

Joel Budd is Board Certified Physicians Assistant specializing in advanced wound management. Since beginning practice in 2022, Joel has built a robust foundation in primary and urgent care, brining a comprehensive approach to patient wellness. Recently, he completed a rigorous fellowship in Surgery and Crtitical Care and earned his Doctor of Science degree from Baylor University, equipping him with advanced expertise in treating complex, chronic, and surgical wounds. Joel is dedicated to applying evidence-based techniques to improve healing outcomes and enhance the quality of life for his patients.

Stephanie Sanders, FNP-C

Stephanie Sanders is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner focused on metabolic health, weight resistance, and early hormone dysfunction. She works with patients who are still functioning day to day but know something is off. With over 15 years of clinical experience across perioperative nursing, wound care, hyperbaric medicine, and urgent care, Stephanie brings technical depth and genuine attentiveness to every appointment. Stephanie has lived in the Spring Branch and Bulverde community since 2005. This isn’t just where she works — it’s her home. Her neighbors are her patients, and she takes that seriously.
